You probably have your own favourite way of eating Jacob's crackers, because there are literally hundreds of different tasty combinations. We've put together some of our own favourites – if you haven't already, why not give one a whirl?
Mediterranean Pesto Cream Cheese

Ingredients
- Jacob's Cream Crackers
- 4 tbsp basil, chopped
- 2 tbsp pine nuts, chopped
- 4 tbsp parmesan, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 125g cream cheese
Method
- Place all the ingredients in a bowl and gently mix together
- Spread on Jacob's Cream Crackers and serve

Peppery Smoked Mackerel Pate

Ingredients
- Jacob's High Fibre Cream Crackers
- 150g smoked mackerel, skinned and flaked
- 3 tbsp quark or crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Freshly ground pepper
- Cucumber slices and salad to serve
Method
- Thoroughly mix the mackerel, quark and lemon juice together until smooth
- Serve on Jacob's High Fibre Cream Crackers sprinkled with freshly ground black pepper. Garnish with cucumber slices and salad

Creamy Stilton & Port Topping

Ingredients
- Jacob's Digestives for Cheese
- 150g stilton cheese, crumbled
- 3 tbsp crème fraîche
- 1 tbsp port
- Red grapes to serve
Method
- Gently folded the crumbled stilton through the crème fraîche and port to combine
- Spoon generously on to Jacob's Digestives for Cheese and serve with red grapes

Zingy Chilli Bean Salsa

Ingredients
- Jacob's Light Cream Crackers
- 150g tinned butter beans, rinsed and thoroughly drained
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ lemon, juiced
- 1 green chilli, deseeded and chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- 3 tbsp coriander, chopped
- 75g cherry tomatoes, roughly chopped
Method
- Roughly mash the butter beans with a fork.
- Stir in the olive oil, lemon juice, chilli, garlic and cumin until thoroughly combined.
- Finally, gently stir in the coriander and chopped tomatoes.
- Serve generously on top of Jacob’s Light Cream Crackers.

In a hurry? Mash the butter beans as above, then stir through 4 – 5 tbsp of your favourite ready made spicy tomato salsa.
Spinach Turkey and Avocado Salad

Ingredients
- Jacob's Essentials Crackers
- Baby Spinach
- Half an avocado, chopped
- 2 slices of turkey breast
- 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
- Balsamic vinegar
Method
- Grab a few handfuls of baby spinach.
- Top the spinach with half a chopped avocado and 1-2 slices of cooked, shredded turkey.
- Drizzle over 1-2 tbsp olive oil and a little balsamic vinegar.
- Pile on top of Jacob's Essentials.
Salads can be healthy and tasty. Crackers give you some added texture and flavour. This one is light, tasty, and best of all it's really easy to make.

Caesar Salad

Ingredients
- Jacob's Essentials Crackers
- 1x baby gem lettuce
- 2 tbsp light Caesar dressing
- Portion of poached salmon
- 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
- Pine nuts
- Parmesan shavings
Method
- Select a handful of baby gem lettuce leaves and mix with 1-2 tbsp light Caesar dressing.
- Saute a diced salmon portion in a tbsp olive oil and gently mix through the salads.
- Top with tbsp of pine nuts and parmesan shavings.
- Crumble in Jacobs Essentials crackers and serve.
Caesar Salad is a firm favourite at lunchtime. Try adding Jacob's Essential Crackers instead - whatever flavour you fancy.
Taste tips? If you don't fancy salmon try a portion of skinless grilled chicken instead.
Tuna Melt

Ingredients
- Jacob's Essentials Crackers
- 1 x can of tuna
- 1 x red onion
- Small jar of sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 tbsp of light mayonnaise
- Low fat cheese
- Cracked pepper
Method
- Place a small can of drained tuna in a bowl with a small chopped red onion, sun-dried tomatoes and a tbsp of light mayonnaise.
- Mix together and put on top of Jacob's Essentials Crackers – whatever your favourite flavour.
- Sprinkle over a little low fat cheese and grill.
- Garnish with cracked pepper.
Tuna melts are always good for warming you up on cold days or for cheering you up on dull ones. Try a melt on crackers rather than bread for a satisfying snack option.
Taste tips? You can also make any other sort of melt – try cheese and tomato for a veggie option or ham and cheese if you don't want tuna.
Roasted Pumpkin and Broccoli Salad

Ingredients
- Jacob's Pumpkin Seed and Thyme Crackers
- 200g diced pumpkin
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil
- 100g broccoli florets
- Low fat cream cheese
- Lemon juice
Method
- Toss 200g peeled, diced pumpkin into a roasting tin with 1-2 tbsp olive oil and roast in a hot oven for 15 mins.
- Mix in 100g broccoli florets and cook for an extra 10 mins.
- Spread Jacob's Pumpkin Seed and Thyme Crackers with low fat cream cheese and spoon over the roast vegetables.
- Squeeze over a little orange juice to taste.
Taste tips? If you want more variety with your greens, just add some mange tout or green beans in with the broccoli and a little fresh coriander to garnish!
